trinamiX makes the invisible visible
Knowledge is key for making informed and healthy life decisions. But sometimes, visible information is not enough. trinamiX helps to make the right decisions by referring to near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, a well-established method, that trinamiX makes affordable and accessible beyond industrial applications.
trinamiX has developed the infrared detectors Hertzstück™, which detect light in the wavelength range up to 3 μm – a highly relevant region in the infrared regime. Hertzstück™ sensors are very small and have a high detectivity and as such enable us to build a powerful, miniaturized NIR spectrometer: a "lab in the pocket".
trinamiX will bring this mobile spectroscopy solution to market, making advanced technology accessible to people outside a laboratory. The sample is no longer sent to the laboratory, but the laboratory comes to the sample.
What is NIR Spectroscopy?
Near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy is an optical analytical method, well-established in a variety of industries. It is used e.g. for quality control, process analysis and material identification. trinamiX combines spectroscopy with the powerful tool of data science, offering a fast and lean alternative to long-lasting and resource-intensive chemical analysis methods.
